My Best Chicken

I love this chicken dish, it's simple, it's a one pot dish, it's super fast to make and taste awesome delicious - What more can you ask for...



  • 4              pcs         chicken leg (over/under)
  • 12           pcs         baby red Bombay
  • 12           pcs         baby potatoes
  • ½             pcs         carrot
  • 2              clv           garlic
  • ½             pcs         lemon
  • 2              tsp          Dijon mustard
  • 1              cup         Sour crem / yougurt
  • 1              cup         chicken stock (cube)
  • Salt – black pepper – chopped parsley.


How to Make: 

Season the chicken throughout with salt and pepper.

Fry golden on both side.

Meanwhile slice the carrot and chop the garlic.

Remove the chicken and sauté the vegetables for a few minutes in the same pan.

Add the chicken (top up) and paint with mustard on topside, drizzle with lemon juice.

Add chicken stock and boil over slow heat 30-35 min.

Just before serving add sour cream (or yogurt) and drizzle with finely chopped parsley.


Serve with sourdough bread and a cold beer.
