Who doesn't like a refreshing ice cream on a warm day. My "little helper" certainly knows how to enjoy this wonderfull substance made with the best ingredients.
To make a "professional" ice cream you will need an ice cream machine. There are
so many kinds on the market now a days (manual, electric, with or without compressor) that its to hard to recommend one from the other.
I brought my ice cream machine with me from Denmark years ago but today you will easily find one in the local appliance
store or purchase one online. An electric machine without compressor can be purchased for less than PHP 10.000 - with compressor from 20.000 and up. (2018 prices).
Once you have tried a plain homemade vanilla ice cream you will never turn back to factory
ice cream again.
From the basic ingredients you can add almost anything you can imagine, Only the imagination sets the boundary...
add e.g chocolate - mango - nuts - banana - crust oreo bisquit - marshmellow - you name it.
- 8 pcs egg yolk
- 6 dl heavy cream
- 4 dl milk
- 150 g sugar
- 1 pcs vanilla
- 1 tsp carob powder
How to make:
Fluff the egg yolk on the stand mixer.

Slice the vanilla pod scrape the vanilla seed in the mixture and add also the vanilla pod.
Slowly heat until 82C, then cool for an hour or two and run the ice
